Fishing Terms You always wanted to Know About.

This group will be all about sharing terms used by fisherman, Anglers everything you ever want to know about a certain term will found what that term means.  I want to share as many terms as can come up with. 

The easiest way is to share your favorite terms that you use the most or like the most.  We all have heard terms used and had no idea what they meant.  So now will know what they actually mean. 

If you have of heard of one and have no idea what it means we will all work on founding out what the meaning is for that term..

Angling: The art of fishing, as practiced by those who seek to catch fish not for profit or for food, but rather for the sport involved.

Artificial: Type of synthetic bait rejected by a finicky fish because it is too large or too small or because it has the wrong shape, has the wrong coloration, or makes the wrong motion in the water.

Barnacle: The only marine species whose successful accumulation in large numbers on a deep-sea fishing boat can be accepted on the basis of an unverified oral report.

Creel: Lightweight, easily carried wickerwork basket in which the day’s catch is placed.

Creep: anglers who insists on examining the content of another fishermen’s creed.

So now we have an idea what we are going to share with one another in this group terms we all use, have not used but most of all lets have fun with it.
