What the word Fishing really means

 Let's get a list going of what the word Fishing really means.  

Kind of like my phrase is Drowning bait.  At the end of the day that is what I have done because I rarely catch anything worth keeping (Or even reeling in for that matter)

 

So when you 'go fishing what are you really doing?

Good one! Sometimes fishing means bobbing along in a boat, rod in one hand and beer in another, ever so often reeling in your empty hook to put another bit of bait on it while enjoying sunshine and salt air.
